It is always exciting to see another issue of Vermont Life arrive in the mail. And not just because it is a beautifully designed magazine with interesting feature stories.
Sure, there’s that.
But it’s also exciting to find out if they picked up any of the images I submitted for their front of book section. Usually, by the time an issue comes out, I forget what I have submitted, because the deadlines are about six months in advance of publication.
In the current, Winter issue, just out, they picked up two images I submitted over a year ago and ran both full page, including one on the first table of contents page (the left one). Sweet.
For those of you not smart/lucky/savvy enough to subscribe to Vermont Life, here are the images they featured in this issue.
[Both images, needless to say, are available as fine art prints 🙂 ]
This on the heels of Vermont Life Calendars picking several of my images for their different calendars, including two in their flagship Wall Calendar, and one as the cover of the pocket calendar (the image below).
So, all in all, Vermont life has been nice this fall… Except that the images do remind that we have six months of winter ahead.
Time to change up the white balance on my camera, I guess.
